Kathryn VanBruinisse Fazzolari, 46, of Meriden passed away at her home on Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was the beloved wife of eleven years to Lawrence A. Fazzolari. Kathryn was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on December 4, 1968; daughter of the late Cornelis and Erna Izokaitis VanBruinisse and had worked as a Call Center Representative for Achieve Financial Credit Union in Berlin. Kathryn loved looking up different places to travel but most importantly being with her family and two dogs. Sister of Victoria VanBruinisse. Daughter-in-law of Stella Fazzolari and the late Joseph Fazzolari. Sister-in-law of Teresa Fazzolari. Niece of Cookie (Joseph) Pascarella, Ann (John) Brunskill, William (Cathy) VanBruinisse, Paul Izokaitis and the late Elsie Izokaitis Dievert.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Thursday evening at 7:00 with the Rev. Edward Cornell officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
What a wonderful, beautiful girl Katie was. She was always so loving to everyone she came into touch with. I will miss you so much my Katie.

I was so sorry to hear about Katie's passing! She was such a great person to work with at Citytrust and Chase Bank. Everytime I saw her she always had a great big smile and greeted me with a hug. She was so full of life. She will be greatly missed. I cannot express in words how sorry I am for your loss.

Katie was one of the most special people in my life. Ever since Ken and I married we formed an instant connection. Our friendship and love with Katie and Lorenzo is unconditional. So much so that we chose Katie to be our son Bode's Godmother. I have so many fond memories of her that they will last a lifetime. I hope you are finally at peace Katie. We will always love you.

So sorry to hear of Katie's passing I worked with her at Guilford Savings Bank in 2002. We had a lot of fun working together and I thought of her often. Prayers for her loved ones.
