Carol Boyce Goedert, 69 of Sentinel Hill Road, North Haven, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was the wife of Patrick J. Goedert. Mrs. Goedert was born in New Haven on May 24, 1943; daughter of the late Robert J. and Gertrude C. Sauter Boyce; a Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of Hartford Hospital School of Nursing and had worked as an Operating Room Nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital and First Assistant Operating Room Nurse at Temple Surgical. Carol was also a very active member of the Faith United Methodist Church. Sister of Janice R. Boyce, Robert A. (Malai)Boyce and Eileen S. Chapman all of Eastville, Virginia. Aunt of Robert A. (Brigette)Boyce, Jr. and Nancy (Brian) Patterson. Great aunt of Ginette Boyce, Dylan and Corey Patterson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on January 20, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Faith United Methodist Church, 81 Clintonville Rd., North Haven; and to join the family for a reception immediately following. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Faith UMC, 81 Clintonville Road, North Haven, CT 06473.
I worked with Carol at Temple, what a beautiful person inside and out, my heart goes out to all who loved her. The heavens have another angel…rest in peace Carol you will be greatly missed.
