Jean Hubbell Hallock, 91, of 165 Clintonville Road, North Haven, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus. She was the wife of the late Donald A. Hallock. Jean was born in Bridgeport on September 28, 1921; daughter of the late Franklin and Helen Osborn Hubbell; obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY; had worked as a Librarian for the North Haven School System for many years until her retirement; was a member of the North Haven Congregational Church and its Women’s Fellowship; attended the North Haven Senior Center. Mother of Cynthia Hallock of North Hampton, MA, David (Mary) Hallock of Marlboro, NC, Daniel S. (Mary) Hallock of Williamsburg, MA and Susan V. Hallock of Hopedale, MA. Grandmother of Franklin, Daniel and Michelle “Shelly†Hallock. Sister of Donald (Shirley) Hubbell of Newtown and Patricia Hornstein of Easton.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral services on Saturday morning, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 in the North Haven Congregational Church. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be held in the spring in the Village Hills Cemetery, Williamsburg, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Haven Congregational Church, 28 Church St., North Haven, CT 06473. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
