Stanley T. Kulenski, 79, of North Haven, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of forty-three years to Joan Rogers Kulenski. Stanley was born in New Haven on April 9, 1933; son of the late Stanley and Jennie Hollis Kulenski; had worked as a Diesel Mechanic and took care of the entire fleet at his family’s business Atlas Moving & Storage until his retirement. Stanley enjoyed working in his yard, camping and especially loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. Father of Nadine Kulenski of West Haven, Stanley D. (Heather) Kulenski of Cheshire, Arthur (Patricia) Kulenski of Palm Bay, FL, Darleen Kulenski of Hamden, Robert Conkling of Wallingford, Theresa (Robert) Back of North Haven and the late Mark Conkling. Brother of Constance (Fred) Schurk of Cheshire. Also survived by ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 10:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden. The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm.
