Carmel C. Paolino Barletta, 90, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Charles C. Barletta. Carmel was born in New Haven on July 17, 1924; daughter of the late Fiore and Rose Paolino. Mother of Rocco (Linda) Barletta. Grandmother of Bradley Simo, Stacey (Pat) DiNuzzo, Brian (Kristen)Burr and Robert Burr. Sister of Sue Burke, Frank and John Paolino, Mary Carrato, Madelyn Klepner, Theresa George. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the CT Hospice for the excellent care and comfort.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 10:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
