Michael John Rowland, 49, of North Haven, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Bay State Medical Center, Springfield, MA. He was the beloved husband of Tara M. Rawlick Rowland. Michael was born in New Haven on March 5, 1965; son of the late William and Katherine White Rowland; he obtained his HVAC from the Technical Career Institute and was working as an Assistant Service Manager for Controlled Air of Branford for the past twenty-one years. He was a former member of the West Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and was a New York Rangers fan. Loving father of Peyton Lynn Rowland, Jillian Marie Rowland and Lindsey Elizabeth Rowland. Brother of Katherine (Aaron) Stone. Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Peter and Carol Rawlick.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue on Wednesday morning, April 30th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Rowland Memorial Funeral c/o Webster Bank, 1 South Main Street, Branford, CT 06405.
