Helen Judzent Karpinski, 86, formerly of Cedar Avenue, North Haven passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the wife of the late Alvin C. Karpinski. Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 17, 1929; daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Makaranciute Judzent. Mother of Holly Ann Murray and her husband Mark, and Robert A. Karpinski. Grandmother of Amanda Murray. Sister of Ruth Ramstedt. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the nurses and staff at the Whitney Manor for the compassionate care they provided to Helen.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning at 9:45 to follow the procession to the graveside for a 10:00 am service with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
