Wayne A.Villano, 60, of North Haven, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at his home. He was the husband of Mary Ann Redente Villano. Born in New Haven on September 19, 1952; son of the late Edward and Cecile Francis Villano, Sr. Wayne had worked for United Aluminum of North Haven. Father of Elizabeth and Michael Villano both of North Haven. Brother of Robert Villano of Wallingford, Carol Cassell of Vermont, Edward Villano, Jr. of Wallingford, Tamne Midolo of North Haven, Edward Villano of Wallingford, Monique Hawley and the late John Moore. He is also survived by many nieces,nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday, from 4 to 8 pm.

We toasted you this evening as the shining light of the day. You have been there for so many years, like a stairwell newel post – taken for granted but of utmost importance. We shall remember your many laughing moments and the spirit of your smile. Be well dear uncle – we’ll shall miss your gentle affection.
Wayne was a great man. Friend to everyone never had a bed word to say about any other person. I have know Wayne for 23 years. Wayne you will be missed. RIP
