Frank DiLeva, 82, of North Haven, passed away Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Village Green of Wallingford. Husband of the late Rachel A. Prete DiLeva. Born in Brazil on September 21, 1930; son of the late Miguel and Rosa DiNapoli DiLeva. Frank served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a printer for Horton Printing Company of Meriden for many years until his retirement. Father of Michelle (Tony) Merluccio of Chesterfield, VA, Claudia (David) Page of Wallingford and Kimberly DiLeva of New Haven. Grandfather of Michael Manna, Lisa Page, Lauren Page, Brandon DiLeva and Matthew DiLeva. Brother of Peter DiLeva of Las Vegas, Paula DiLeva of New Haven, and the late Anna Maria DiLeva and Victor DiLeva. Nephew of the late Sophie Torello DiLeva.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church 10:00 am. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Beaverdale Memorial Park. The visiting hours will be Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30.
