I was so shocked to hear about Stan’s passing. He was a true gentleman and wonderful educator and co-worker.
So sorry for your loss.
My most heartfelt sympathy.
I was teaching while Stan was an assistant principal at the Hamden Middle School and always admired his passion and compassion for both the students and staff. He often spoke of his love of his family and had a never ending work philosophy. My prayers are with you in such a time of great loss.
I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful man your husband and father was. My daughter attended Deer Run and she was the receipient of the Principals award from Mr. Mendygral. Melissa is diabetic and Mr. Mendygral was the kindest, most understanding principal we could have ever asked for. He said in his speech he admired her courage and strength at such a young age. I wish I had been able to tell him how much we appreciated all he did for our family. He was a great educator and role model. His positive approach to our daughter was by far the best thing for her. She never felt as though she was any different and that was thanks to Mr. Mendygral and his staff. Ironically she is graduating from nursing school in a few short weeks. I know how proud Mr. Mendygral would have been. So very sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
