Marie Viscuso Palumbo, 82, formerly of Fort Hale Road, New Haven, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Palumbo. Marie was born in New Haven on September 9, 1930; daughter of the late Nicholas and Rose Matola Viscuso; had worked at the SNET Company for many years until her retirement; enjoyed reading, baking and cooking. Mother of James Palumbo of New Haven, Maria Juliano, Salvatore (Angela) Palumbo all of East Haven and Steven (Patricia) Palumbo of Guilford. Sister of Michael Viscuso and Ann (Rocco) D’Amico all of Westbrook. Also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday morning at 11:30. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Bernadette Church, New Haven at 12 noon. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
So sorry to hear about your mom, I do remember her in our younger years, she was awesome ! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for strength !

so sorry to hear about your mom. my parents harry and garda carloni lived behind your parents home on morse place for many years.
they became friends and were always very kind to my parents.
marie was a warm, loving lady who was always very helpful to my mom after my dad died. I know she’ll be terribly missed.
