Anne Mae Treichel, 80 passed away peacefully with her husband Lawrence by her side on March 15, 2014. She leaves her devoted husband Lawrence T. Treichel, Sr. of 57 years. Born in New Haven on March 6, 1934, daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Polveschok Yardenhazy. She leaves 8 children, Anne Trimachi (Joseph), Esther Charczynski (Walter), Larry Treichel, Jr., Stephen Treichel (Love), George Treichel, Elise Palmer (Glenn), Thomas Treichel (Magdalene) and Laura Fargeorge (Edmund), and also leaves 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She spent her life as a devoted and loving wife and mother and a dedicated Catholic. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Cheryl, and her siblings Elizabeth Blake, Stephen Yarden, Helen Dwyer, Mary Hahn and John Yarden.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday at 9:15 am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Bernadette Church, New Haven at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
