Gladys V. Dumond Peach, 99, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital Grimes Center, New Haven.  She was the wife of the late Raymond L. Peach.  Gladys was born in New Haven on February 5, 1916; daughter of the late Charles and Lila Richards Dumond.  She had worked for Yale-New Haven School of Nursing until her retirement and used to enjoy going to the Clelian Center, Hamden.  Mother of Raymond (Gloria) Peach, Gladys (Al) Ferraro and Thomas Peach.  Grandmother of Linda (Richard) Colella, Raymond (Gina) Peach, Brenda (William) Joslyn, Nancy (Scott) Marks, Jeffrey and Paul Ferraro, Karen (Anthony) Cannata and Laurie (David) Hearrin.  Sister of Grace Troski.  Also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Paula Peach, five brothers and three sisters.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Thursday morning at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden.  There will be no visiting hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yale-New Haven Hospital Grimes Center, Office of Development, P.O.
