Frank A. Mazzoli, 93, of Northford and Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his home in Northford. He was the husband of Angela Santore Mazzoli. Mr. Mazzoli was born in New Haven on January 13, 1920; son of the late Dominico and Esterina Serfillippi Mazzoli; he served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during WW II; was a developer most of his life and an avid New York Yankee fan. Father of Lorraine Flemming of Northford. Step-Father of Janet (John) Manzi, Judy (Louis) Scigliano all of Hamden, Susan Pettorini-D’Amico of North Haven. Brother of Daniel (Angela) Mazzoli, Sr. of Northford, Mary Grestini of West Haven, Ida Vernon of MA and the late George Mazzoli. Also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sol Amor Hospice, 4 Oxford Rd., Suite 4E, Milford, CT 06460.

Uncle Frank was very special to all his Iowa family. We loved him and were so happy when Angela came into his life. Our deep sympathy and prayers go out to her and all of Frank’s family.
I will always remember Uncle Franks’s hospitality. We always enjoyed great meals and had lots fun on the bocce court. I remember uncle Frank would bring Angela flowers every week. I always thought he was such a romantic husband. Heaven is getting an Angel today.

I lived beside Mr. Mazzoli for years when he resided on Totoket and I on Sunnyside. Always a smile on his face. Sorry for your loss.

I will always remember the wonderful times visiting Uncle Frank while growing up; he will be missed. My thoughts go out to Angela and all of the family in CT today.
