Anna Moniello Esposito, 90, of North Haven passed away peacefully at St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital on Wednesday April 29, 2015. She was the wife of the late Biaggio Esposito. Anna was born in New Haven on July 26, 1924; daughter of the late Luco and Carmela Morotti Moniello. She loved to play cards, baking, watching soap operas and was a NY Yankee fan. Mother of Carmela (Joe) Burrone and Madeline (Walter) Hansted. Grandmother of Michael Burrone, Amy and Luke Hansted. Also survived by her beloved friend Janet Lampo. Predeceased by her siblings Pasquale and Augustine Moniello, Louise Moroniti and Antoinette Rapacciuolo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday morning at 11:00 in St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929. Interment was privately held in All Saints Cemetery.
