Lorenzo Cucciniello, 24, of Hamden passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. Born in New Haven on August 9, 1992; son of Sergio Cucciniello and Jackeline Onativia. Lorenzo was named after his paternal great grandfather, Lorenzo Porto, his birth was on the eve of the feast of St. Lawrence and in the town of San Lorenzello, Italy where his grandmothers family was from.  Lorenzo graduated Cumlaude from Southern Connecticut State University and was pursuing a law degree. He worked as a law assistant for Bonadies Law Office of Hamden; was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and a swimmer; enjoyed playing Bocci with his nonno and friends; enjoyed spending summers visiting with family in Puerto Rico and Italy.i Grandson of Aldo Cucciniello “nonno”  Ana and Julio Onativia. Brother of Aldo, Emilio and Anamaria Cucciniello. Nephew of Giovanna Cucciniello, Danilo Secchiaroli, Ollie and Ivelisse Onativia, Pasquale, Mary and Gianfranco Porto and Dolores Costanzo, Jacob Onativia, Mita and Mingo Morales, Domenico, Maria Vittoria,Osvaldo, and Carmela Cucciniello, Luigia Mauriello. Cousin of Bianca and Ricky Onativia, Daniela and Frank Ladore and John L Porto, Xiamary, Zasha, Katheline, Jose, Neftali, Elvin, and Amarylis, Guido, Emilio, Maria, Iacopo and Claudia Cuccineillo. Lorenzo leaves a multitude of friends who he always entertained with his infectious smile and laughter.   Predeceased by his grandmother Maria Cucciniello

Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Anthony’ s Church, 70 Washington Avenue, New Haven on Saturday morning at 11:00 to attend a mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service  immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the gofundme.com in memory of Lorenzo Cucciniello. A Mass will be celelbrated in Lorenzos memoryin Sam Lorenzello, Italy on Saturday at 6:30pm.
