Patricia Anne DelVasto (née Houde), RN, 72, of West Haven, Connecticut, passed away on October 27, 2015 in Hanover, New Hampshire with her loving family and friends by her side. Patty was a dedicated critical care and labor and delivery nurse, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, aunt and fisherperson. One of her biggest joys in life was being a great wife to her husband of 52 years, Vinny, which she did magnificently. During her retirement she divided her time between Washington, New Hampshire and Marco Island, Florida and traveled extensively through much of Europe and the United States. Patty also traveled to fish and particularly enjoyed Alaska. Preceded in death by her adoring parents, William E. and Dorothy (Wilkinson) Houde, Patty leaves behind many loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Vincent J. DelVasto, mother of three sons, James (Tammy), JR (Tara) and Deron (Jeannine), and loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren. Patty is also survived by her brothers William and Edward Houde. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Saturday morning at 10:30. Interment will follow in the All Saints Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Upper Valley Hostel, 17 South Street Hanover, New Hampshire 03755 in Patricia’s memory would be appreciated.
