Ralph “Moose” Halligan, 84, a lifelong resident of North Haven, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at CT Hospice, Branford. Born in New Haven on December 16, 1929; son of the late Ralph and Frances Dombrowski Halligan. He was a 26 year member of the Center Volunteer Fire Dept. and was a driver for Teamster Local 1035 until retirement. One of his greatest passions in life was fresh and salt water fishing. Moose is survived by Myrna Halligan. Father of Kathy (Jules) Kranich, Patrick and Brian Halligan. He is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter, Susan Halligan.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford CT 06405.
