Rosina Pocobello Cantu, 89, of 191 Pool Road, North Haven passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the St. Raphael campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur Cantu. Rosina was born in Italy on August 25, 1926; daughter of the late Louis and Giacinta Udine Pocobello and had worked for the former Wallace Silversmith. Predeceased by her siblings, Naldo and Enrico Pocobello, Rose Betta, Ann Merlone, Mary Camero and Alda Betta. Survived by several niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephews throughout Connecticut, Florida and California.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church on Saturday, Oct. 10th, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.
