Adelphina Rosadini Pine, age 90, of Worth Avenue, Hamden, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021.  She was the wife of the late John G. Pine for 66 years.  Adele was born in Hamden on May 21, 1930; daughter of the late Girolamo and Alduina Susini Rosadini.  Mother of John (Joell) Pine and Maria (Pine) Apuzzo. Grandmother of John C., Jenna, and Sarah Pine.  Sister of Mario Rosadini and the late Leo & Quido Rosadini, Carmella Freeman and Lucy Reitano.  Adele was a hairdresser for many years, being trained at Charles of the Ritz in New York.  She was a member of the Hamden Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the North Haven Sons & Daughters of Italy.  Adele was a parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Church for over 40 years, being a member of the choir for many of those years.  Her passion for cooking and baking was enjoyed by her family and friends.  Her gift of hospitality will always be remembered.  Adele and her husband enjoyed cruises and traveling to Washington, D.C., the Caribbean, and many of the southern states.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Monday morning, April 26th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.  (masks and social distancing required for all services)
