Joseph D. Hall, 71, of Branford, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Smilow Cancer Hospital, New Haven. Born in New Haven on November 7, 1942; son of the late John and Ruth Monahan Hall. He had worked as a plumber for Yale University for over 35 years, enjoyed saltwater fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Father of Jennifer (Douglas) Holabird and Paulette (Antonio) Palumbo. Grandfather of Cheyenne, Dakota, Alexander, Dennis and Gianna. Brother of John Hall, Margaret Cease, William Hall and the late Mary Zilinskas and Kathleen DeMezzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Sunday evening at 6:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 3:00 until time of service. god knows how ELEVEN people dikslied a memorial service and a beautiful, touching? one at that. Honestly, that's just disgusting. Here are these people mourning the loss of a husband, father, artist and friend. Sure, dislike his work but that's a completely different discussion this is a group of talented performers singing a beautiful song at a memorial service nothing at all to dislike to do that is just soulless.
