Alese Janine Mauriello, 41, of Shelton formerly of Branford passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 13th, 2021 at Newport Hospital, Rhode Island while on vacation. She was the beloved companion and best friend of Christopher Garrity. Alese was born in New Haven on April 14, 1979 and was the beloved daughter of Albert Mauriello and Angela D’Agostino Mauriello (Dan Savenelli). A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, she later earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Alese was Marketing Manager at Subway Corporate Headquarters in Milford for the past 15 years. She enjoyed traveling, working out at the gym and especially shopping. Sister of Paul Mauriello. Granddaughter of Marino D’Agostino and the late Rachel Fodero D’Agostino, Albert “Jasper” and Gloria Gentilesco Mauriello. Aunt of Kiara, Gennaro and Raffael Mauriello.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday afternoon, Feb. 19th at 12:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial. There will be no visiting hours, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
