Alice Ozanian Abrahamian, 93, longtime resident of Orange passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. H. Arto Abrahamian. Alice was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 10, 1925 and was the daughter of Meroojan and Susanne “Shooshik” Ozanian. She graduated with honors as a Bio-Chemist from Simmons College and worked at MIT in Cambridge before giving up her career to raise her family. She loved to travel, especially vacations to Maine and the Cape, and she enjoyed cooking Armenian dishes, cheering on the Red Sox, and was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all. Mother of Armen A. (Mary Ellen) Abrahamian of North Haven and Aram Richard (Denise) Abrahamian of New Jersey. Loving grandmother (Yaya) of Emily and Michael Abrahamian.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Orange Congregational Church, 205 Meetinghouse Lane on Saturday morning, November 17th at 10:30 am. Family and Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow the service in the Orange Center Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Gifts in Alice’s memory may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

We just found out from the Trinity email that Alice died a few days ago. We are so very sorry to hear the news and offer our sincerest condolences. She was a wonderful woman and we enjoyed our times with her. May the Lord bless you and the family with His comfort and peace in the days ahead. We will not be returning to Connecticut until late Saturday the 17th and will miss her service, but our thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.
