Alvin was a trusted and very appreciated partner throughout the many years we worked together. Other coworkers have mentioned to me how helpful and kind he always was, willing to take time to explain complex processes to them in order to further their personal knowledge. Alvin will definitely be missed by all of us.
For over 17 years I’ve been graced with the ability to call Alvin my friend. He and I forged our careers together meeting as we both were learning to be professionals. I’ve learned countless things from Alvin and will be forever grateful for having known him. He remains a shining example of how we all should conduct our lives. My sincerest sympathy to Alvin’s family, along with a great deal of gratitude for raising such an outstanding humanitarian. I will miss him greatly.
Our condolences to our Uncle Pat and Tita Norma and children – Alvin will be missed dearly.
We are offering our prayers for his eternal rest.
I have informed Father Nonong of our loss. Alvin will be in his prayers as well.
I feel so bad that I didn’t get the chance to see him again.
Our sympathies, from Nestor and Hermie Marcelino and family of Washington, NC
I met Alvin on my first day of work in 2001 when I joined Mitek. We quickly became friends. He was such a great person, always ready to help if you needed something. We shared a lot of good times and always had a laugh when we ran into each other over the years. Please know that Alvin and his family will be in my prayers.
I lost my big brother (Alvin). Though he was my Boss in my professional life but he guided me as a younger brother. Last discussion I had with Alvin on 7th Feb for 2 min 55 sec. we used to have chat over the phone on regular basis for an hour to 2. We talked about everything. His contact will be in my phone forever but that’s not going to ring at all. I am going through very tough time and not able to accept this loss. Last 13 years he is my boss and my professional carrier till now I have only one Boss (Alvin). I got opportunity to working with him at same office for 6 years. Last 5 years I relocated to India and unfortunately I did not get chance to stay with him in his last journey. He asked me to send him some Indian movie with English subtitle in AmazonPrime but this is not going to happen anymore. I feel very sad as I lost my Boss, my Friend , my Brother with whom I spent time at least an hour everyday over the phone. Will miss you Alvin everyday , every minutes.

I have known Alvin since we both began at J&J in 2000 and am thankful that in my lifetime, I can say that I met truly one of the nicest human beings ever. Please accept my sincere condolences. He will be greatly missed.
Roel my deepest condolences to you and your family during this time. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
I met Alvin over 15 years ago while working at Johnson and Johnson. During our first meeting I remember thinking, “Wow! This guy is brilliant! ” It was not just that he was really smart – lots of people are really smart – but Alvin willingly shared his gift with anyone who asked. This guy had a unique style of persuasion; he blended facts with Company philosophy and in his typical unassuming way would lead me, and everyone in the room, to a conclusion that would help the company and benefit the patient. When I reflect back on Alvin’s career, I truly believe that his work helped thousands and thousands of patients live better lives. As weeks turned into months and then into years, Alvin became more than just a great colleague to me; he became a friend. And then, in what felt like a blink of an eye, he became family. I could pick up the phone on any day or night, and he would be there. Constant. Calm. Assured. Helpful. Whew, he certainly knew how to help out when the going got rough. And he would help out with the fun stuff too! From birthdays to charity events to epic conversations about politics, his compassion and humor made him a favorite! Alvin’s passing has left a big hole in the world, and has left me heartbroken. What a great guy! My thoughts, prayers, and condolences to his family and friends
