Amy Marie Ruotolo, 37, of East Haven passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Amy was born in New Haven on December 26, 1981 and was the beloved daughter of Michael A. Ruotolo, Sr. and Ella Mae Perdue Ruotolo. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, aspiring to continue her education to become a Registered Nurse. Amy was employed at Apple Rehab in Meriden. While earning her license as an LPN, Amy’s grades ranked the highest in the history of her nursing school during the year she graduated. She had so much love and compassion for many, which is why nursing was her calling. The light of her life was her son Nicholas whom she loved unconditionally. Sister of Michael A. Ruotolo, Jr. (Ashley Cain) and Gianna M. Ruotolo. Aunt of Marlee M. Ruotolo and Granddaughter of Areta Ruotolo. Amy was predeceased by her Grandparents, Claude and Carole Adams Perdue, her Uncle Claude D. Perdue, and her Grandfather, Salvatore Ruotolo, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to the United Methodist Church, 811 East Main Street, Branford on Thursday morning, May 30th at 11:00 to attend a funeral service. Interment will be private and at the family’s discretion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nicholas J. Puccino Education Fund through the funeral home.
My heart goes out to the family and friends of Amy, may the God of all comfort help to strengthen you during this difficult time of loss. The Bible gives us a beautiful hope for the future in Isaiah 25:8, which states: “He will swallow up death forever, and the Soverign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” Soon, we can look forward to a time when all suffering will be wiped out forever; there will be no more cemetaries, funerals, or tears of grief, only tears of joy as we are once again reunited with our loved ones.
Mae, Mike and family my deepest sympathies and prayers. I am sooo sorry for loss. Love always Melissa and family
Rest in peace sweet Amy. Love and prayers for Mae, Mike, Mike, Ashley, Gianna and Marley. And especially for Nicholas. I will always love you Amy xoxo
Condolences to the Family of Amy Marie Ruotolo , May she Rest in Heavenly Peace – Amen.
I am very sorry for your loss. when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God’s unfailing love will soften the hurt you’re feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on a paradise earth, as Acts 24:15, Luke 23:43 tells us. I do hope you find comfort.
Though I did not know your Amy, she sound like a beautiful person. I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. (JW.org).
My heart and prayers go out to you Mae & Mike, Also Amy’s sister Gianna and brother Mike. People always say Heaven has another Angel. Yet in this case Heaven has a very special Angel. Leaving her family here on earth to join her family up in Heaven. Amy fell asleep here and woke up in Heaven with her grandparents, uncle Claudie and many more love ones. As I think of Amy, I feel she would not want us to be sad and crying. Yet pray she understands it is hard not to when such a compassionate person like her is taking so quickly and unexpected. Love you Amy, Tell our family we will all meet again after our missions on earth our done. Again my prayers are with all the family and those friends that love Amy.
r.i.p. bless you.condolences to family
