Andrew M. Vitale, Jr., 60, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, March 15th, 2021. Born in New Haven on February 15, 1961 and was the son of Phyllis Silvestro Vitale and the late Andrew M. Vitale, Sr. Andrew was a graduate of North Haven High School; he had worked for North Haven Tile and was an excellent auto body mechanic for many years. His enjoyment was buying and restoring cars, watching sports on the weekend with his brother, especially the New York Mets and Dallas Cowboys and spending holidays at his sister’s home with his family who he loved unconditionally. Brother of Ann Cannamela and her husband Vito, his twin brother and best friend Frank Vitale. Uncle of Justin and Brendan Cannamela. Predeceased by his beloved friend, his cat Beanie.
Private services have been entrusted to the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. I really didn’t know Andrew but i did graduate with him from NHHS in 1979.
