Angela Rosa Perfetto Ceniccola, 89, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 17th, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Bruno Ceniccola. Angela was born in Cusano Mutri, Provence of Benevento, Italy on April 22, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Luigi and Mariantonia Crocco Perfetto. An excellent seamstress, she had worked for the former Harold’s Formal Wear, New Haven for many years. Angela enjoyed sewing and cooking. Mother of Giuseppe Ceniccola, Luigi (Brittany Redman) Ceniccola, Bruno Ceniccola, and Maria Ceniccola. Grandmother of Anthony and his wife Jennifer, Matthew, Karissa, Alessia, Angelina, Rosalena, and Pasquale. Great-Grandmother of A.J. and Olivia. Sister of Maria Scala and Pasquale Perfetto. The family would like to extend a “Special Thank You” to all the nurses and staff at the CT Hospice, Branford for their excellent care, comfort and compassion, especially Elizabeth Atta Ogoe Nhyira and also to Brooke McDermott, her caregiver that was always there for her.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday morning, June 23rd from 9:00 to 11:00 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, New Haven at 12 Noon. Entombment will follow in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

Maria,Bruno, Luigi and Joseph. I just wanted to give you my condolences to you and your family. Rosa to me was a wonderful person. I enjoyed seeing her every time I came back to Connecticut. She always invited me for coffee and we just talking about family and how we used to be in the past. I will miss that, she will always be in my heart and my memories of times we shared.
