Angelina “Angie” Pomarico Ferrara, 94, of Wallingford, formerly of Weaver Circle, North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Ferrara.  Angie was born in New Haven on May 19, 1928 and was the daughter of the late John and Antoinette Consorte Pomarico.  She had worked as a Teller for the former New Haven Savings Bank. Angie was an avid bowler in her younger years, was a member of the Ladies Guild at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Hamden, enjoyed cooking and baking for many family gatherings but most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren who she loved unconditionally. Mother of Claudia F. Swanson (Axel), Cindi DeLaurentis (Gene) and the late Eileen Joyce.  Grandmother of Drew Austin DeLaurentis (Elycia) and Tyler Evan DeLaurentis. Sister of George Pomarico (Suzy), Emily Cycenas and the late Louis and Frank Pomarico.

The visiting hours will be Wednesday morning, Oct. 12th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hartford HealthCare at Home – Hospice Care, 81 Meriden Avenue, Southington, CT 06489
