Ann Flanagan McCafferty, 81, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2017 at the St. Raphael campus/Yale-New Haven with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Francis “Clark” McCafferty. Ann was born in Troy, New York on April 11, 1935; daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth DeLorme Flanagan and had worked for the former Terryette’s Gymnastic Center of Hamden. Mother of Anne Hernandez (Joe), Lisa Blackert and the late Maureen McCafferty-Mattia. Grandmother of Nathaniel Alexander, Emilee Bischof (James), Ryan Blackert, Brendan and Max Mattia, and the late Daniel Blackert. Great-Grandmother of Sullivan Bischof. Sister of Elizabeth Donnelly (William), Michael Flanagan (Margaret), Gary Flanagan (Paula) and the late Thomas and Robert Flanagan.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. There will be no visiting hours.
