Ann Lanzoni Massini, 88, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Anthony “Tony” Massini. Ann was born in New Haven on December 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Concetta Ferrari Lanzoni. She had worked as an Executive Secretary at the University of New Haven for 37 years until her retirement. Ann enjoyed the beach and opening her heart and her home to her many friends who she loved to welcome and entertain in her home. Mother of Denise Ceraso (Mark), Anthony Massini, Jr. (Jennifer) and Paula Huebner (Tom). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The visiting hours will be Thursday morning, Oct. 28th from 9:00 to 11:00 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Ann’s family will share a loving remembrance at 10:15 AM until leaving at 11:00 to St. Bernadette Church, New Haven for a Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at 11:30. (Masks required for church service) Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden.

Ann was a real joy in my Life! I met her thru St Bernadete renew group. It was along difficult time for me and Ann always called to have me come to there home.
When she asked I knew she really wanted me to come. Then she would greet me with such joy that I was there.
i would receive the best hug ever and our joy was mutual! Ann and Tony also prayed for me and my children every day for many many years and today we are all
doing very well!
I am very grateful she was in my life and I will always miss her!1

To Ann’s wonderful family! Ann was a dear friend and I will miss her so much! She began inviting me to her home and St Berndettes Renew group in the 80″s . When she would ask me to come it was such a sincere request and when I said yes she was so filled with Joy and this Joy was mutual. when I would arrive I always received the most awesome hug and welcome. This was a very difficult time in my life ongoing for years and she and Tony prayed everyday for me and my children.
we are doing well today but I will miss Annn as I miss her and Tony always!!
