Ann Mulligan, 94, entered into eternal rest Friday January 20, 2017. A Fair Haven native, she was predeceased by her mother, Mary Mulligan, father William Mulligan, brothers William and Thomas, sister, Mary Burland (William), and great nephew William H Burland V. She was the proud aunt to William Burland (Lisa), Tom Burland (Helen), Brian Burland (Johanna). Ann is survived by sister-in-law Lorrain Mulligan. She also leaves nine nieces and nephews and two great nieces. She was a lifelong communicant of St Francis Church in Fair Haven and worked for over 50 years at American Linen. She was a devoted Catholic, wearing out many rosary beads with her long list of people to pray for, basically everyone she ever met. The family thanks all of her care givers at The Mary Wade Home, and Yale New Haven Hospital. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Francis Church, New Haven, Tuesday morning at 10:00 for a Mass of Christian burial and to attend committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
