Anna (Angel) Greenwood, 91, of Guilford, passed away peacefully on April, 25, 2023 at the Connecticut Hospice Branford. She was the loving wife of 72 years to Albert Greenwood, Sr. Anna was born in New Haven on February 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Thomas Pellegrino and Lucy Lombardi Mocco. Anna was a devoted wife who loved cake decorating, cooking, baking and knitting. She loved her travels to Hawaii and Italy and was with the Women’s North Haven Auxiliary Fire Department in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Mother of Albert Jr. (Susan) Greenwood, Susanne (Robert) Clark and the late Carol Ann Greenwood. Grandmother of Ellison (Lisa) Clark, Albert III (Sharline) Greenwood and Jessica (John) Siconolfi. Great-grandmother of Weiland and Emalee Clark, Stella Eve Siconolfi and River Anthony Greenwood. She was predeceased by her seven siblings Anthony Mocco, Louis Mocco, Nancy Puccino, Emily Manacchio, Thomas Pellegrino, and Gaetano Pellegrino. Also survived by countless nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses at St. Raphael’s/Yale NHH and Hospice of Branford for the exceptional care shown to Anna. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue North Haven, on Tuesday morning, May 2, 2023, at 10:45 and to follow the procession to the graveside for an 11:00 am service.
