Anne C. Neubig

Anne C. Neubig, 77, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 4^th, 2021, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.  Anne was born in New Haven on May 29^th, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Augur Neubig.  A graduate of Wilber Cross High School, Anne was an Auditor for Nationwide Insurance for many years until her retirement.  She was an active parishioner of St. Monica’s Parish and a member of the Rosary Society where she was always willing to assist with any parish activities. She was a member of the North Haven Grange #35, the Northford Volunteer Fire Department Company #2 Ladies Auxiliary and a charter member of the North Branford Fire Department Ambulance Company #4. Anne was a member of the original Relay for Life in the town of North Branford, where she was the chairman of the Luminaria committee for five years. Anne enjoyed riding her golf cart on her farm and around town where she would stop and visit with family and friends. Sister of William C. (Judy) Neubig and the late Dorothy G. Neubig.  Aunt of Kenneth W. (Toby) Neubig, David R. (Kimberly) Neubig and Denise (David) Prather.  Great-Aunt of Jared, Jacob, Emily, Grace, and Ben.

The visiting hours will be on Thursday, July 8^th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Ambrose Parish at St. Monica’s Church, 1331 Middletown Avenue, Northford on Friday morning, July 9^th at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
