Anthony Borrelli, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at his home in Northford with his family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Dolores (Crowley) Borrelli. Tony was born in an elevator at the former Grace New Haven Hospital on September 25, 1942, was the son of the late Anthony and Sylvia (Raccio) Borrelli and grew up on the family farm in North Haven. He was a second-generation farmer, and if you were looking for Tony, he would be where he always loved to be, working in his shop. He loved collecting and restoring two-cylinder John Deere Tractors and sharing his passion and knowledge of farming.  Tony contributed many years of his time as an Advisor for the Lyman Hall High School Vo-Ag Program, encouraging “Future Farmers of America” Father of Andi Borrelli Smith (Michael), Elaine Borrelli (John Erickson), Alissa Borelli, Jim Borrelli, Tim Borrelli (Danielle).  Grandfather of Stephanie Iamunno (Gennaro), Audrey Borrelli, Mitchel and Jake Paduano. Brother of Sylvia Porylo (Rich), Steve Borrelli (MaryAnn), Bob Borrelli (Mary), Harold Borrelli (Rose) and the late Lewis Borrelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tony enjoyed spending Sunday afternoons with his family who he loved unconditionally.

A loving tribute to a man truly outstanding in his field will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue with a service to be conducted at 7:30 PM by the Rev. Robert Turner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
