Anthony Dattilo, Jr., 95, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday June 16, 2017 at the Arden House, Hamden. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis Esposito Dattilo. Anthony was born in Greenfield, MA on August 1, 1921; son of the late Anthony and Annie Ducato Dattilo, Sr.; served his country faithfully in the US Army during WWII; worked as a Silver Smith at International Silver in Wallingford until his retirement; was an avid bowler for years, making a team with his brothers, friends and nephew Tony. Father of Dennis Dattilo. Brother of Thomas & Albert Dattilo and the late Frances Speranza, Joseph, Salvatore, Augustine and Michael Dattilo.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.
