Antoinette E. Laudano Criscuolo, 90, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank P. Criscuolo who passed two months ago to the day. Antoinette was born in New Haven on August 14, 1926; daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Fonda Laudano; attended Fanny Farmers Finishing School; had worked for the City of New Haven for 34 years retiring as a cafeteria manager. Antoinette was a former member of the Annex Y.M.A. Ladies Auxiliary, St. Therese Ladies Guild and the New Haven Council of Catholic Women. Mother of Vivian (Nelson) Eddy. Grandmother of Tricia (Eric) DaCosta, Michael (Katie) Eddy and Stephen (Emily White) Eddy. Great-Grandmother of Gavin, Eric and Fiona. Sister of Marie Gambardella, Andrew (Mary Lou) Laudino, Patricia (Carl) DiNello, Joanne DeFelice and the late Lucille Gambardella.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Saturday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection, Wallingford at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm. So many years together, she just wanted to be with him again. Viv, this must be so sad for you, I am sorry. Your parents were so lucky to have such a loving daughter and family to take such good care of them for so long. And you were lucky as well, to have them in your life for so long.
