Antonia Cipullo Tommasone, 85, formerly of Judith Court, Northford passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her son’s home in East Haven with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Tommasone for 57 years.  Antonia was born in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, province of Caserta, Italy on January 20, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Marie Antonia Mirto Cipullo and came to this country with her family in 1972.   She had worked for the former US Surgical of North Haven (now Medtronic).  Antonia lived for her family whom she loved unconditionally.  Beloved mother of Rachele (Lina) Malangone and her husband Carmine, Dario Tommasone and his wife Maria, Dora Morra and her husband Luciano, and Patricia Tommasone Struzinski.  She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Alessandro (Elisa) Malangone, Giuseppe (Laura) Malangone, Christina Tommasone, Gerardo Malangone, Lucia (Nick) DeMatteo, Carina (Zac) Conte, Pasquale (Amanda) Morra, Jessica Tommasone, Nunzio (Melissa) Morra, Matthew and Alessia Struzinski. She is additionally survived by her great grandchildren, Massimo, Samuel, Matteo, Cecelia, Luca, Matilda, Luciano, Sebastian and Mila.  Sister of Immacolata (Giuseppe) Valentino, Teresa (Valentino) Ricciardi, Agostino (Rosa) Cipullo and the late Giovanna Fasci and Maria Bencivenga.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Monica Church at 10:00.  Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.  The visiting hours will be  Monday from 4 to 8 pm.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT  06405.
