Audrey M. White, 93, of Bethany passed away suddenly on October 1, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in New York City on July 14, 1925 to William C. and Kathryn Rice MacKenzie and she grew up in North Haven, attending Hamden High School. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 1947. She was married to the late Roderick B. White and lived in Bethany for 62 years. Audrey is survived by her daughter, Endly K. White (Carl Gliko) of North Bergen, New Jersey, and her son, Roderick M. White of Bethany. She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Karen Ryan White. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Brendan R. White and Caitlin R. White (Michael Looney). Audrey will be deeply missed by her family and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity and wonderful sense of humor.
Funeral service will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Friday morning, Oct. 5, at 11:00. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.
