August “Augie” Lincoln, III, 50, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 30th, 2023. Augie was born on September 28th, 1972 in New Haven. He is the son of Patricia (Pesapane) Lincoln and the late August Lincoln, Jr. Father of Dylan A. Lincoln of Seymour. Brother of Lori (Joseph) Robert and Uncle of Joseph Robert Jr. “JJ” of East Haven. He was also a father figure to Ryan Wabno of Seymour. Stepson of the late Robert Kubicza. He also leaves behind his best friend, fur baby Milo. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Augie was always smiling and laughing and as his sister would say a “goof”. Augie worked at Naturally Green Lawn Care as a lawn technician for the past four years. He was also a longtime automotive mechanic graduating from Eli Whitney Technical School. He was also known as the “Handyman” willing to help everyone.
Growing up he played baseball (Dom Aitro League) and loved playing hockey. He also loved boating with his dad and uncles Mike & Robert. Augie was an enthusiastic Philadelphia Flyers fan. He loved taking his son dirt biking and go carting when he was younger and more recently taking his nephew “JJ”.
His family will receive friends on Monday, July 17th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Catholic Parlor Service will be conducted in the funeral home at 1:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

I meant Augie about 10 years ago when he was cutting my neighbor’s grass. I pulled over and from that moment forward not only did Augie become my landscaper my friend he also became my brother. When I called Augie he would come right away I’m going to miss him. May God bless him and keep him in our hearts.
