We were so sorry to hear this sad news. We will always remember him for his funny sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Our sincere condolences.
My deepest sympathies for the loss of your dear brother, Dennis and my dear cousin. I always enjoyed my time growing up and spending my summers with my cousins. We had so much fun. I also enjoyed the time I spent with Dennis while here in Arizona. He had such a great sense of humor. I pray he is resting in peace and is flying with the Angels in heaven and hoping he can get a couple rounds of heavenly golf in. Rest in peace, sweet Dennis—-you will be missed but never forgotten.
Deepest Sympathy to the Scott family. Dennis was a great guy and always was helpful when we worked at Bayer. May he rest in peace.
This man was an angel, my godfather, the kindest most loving soul I've known. If you knew his love them you knew him, for he loved everyone around him. He is sorely and deeply missed.
Who knows what tomorrow brings
In a world, few hearts survive
All I know is the way I feel
When it's real, I keep it alive
The road is long, there are mountains in our way
But we climb a step every day
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry on a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world we know, up where the clear winds blow
We are saddened to hear about the loss of your wonderful brother, Dennis. We knew Dennis to be a positive force in the lives he touched. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
I built a tiny garden
In a corner of my heart
I kept it just for lovely things
And bade all else depart
And ever was there music
And flowers blossomed fair
And never was it perfect
Until you entered there
In Deepest Sympathy ~RM~
Condolences to Dennis’ family. I worked with him for approximately a year and had enjoyed his humor and quiet ways. He is missed already and will continue to be.
The legacy that Dennis leaves is amazing! No one can think of an unkind word about him or from him. Find a picture where he isn't smiling, or hugging family or friends, or enjoying his life. And most importantly, to me, try to find a better friend. He was loving and patient, loyal and kind, available and supportive, and always wearing a smile. He found joy in a Red Sox game, a steak well grilled, a great song, a road trip in his pristine car. He harmonized perfectly to every Beatles song ever written! He knew all the lines to the Looney Toons cartoons, especially the old Bugs Bunny cartoons and wasn't shy about reciting them! He never missed a special occasion and always knew when you needed a call or a hug. I am trying not to consider this a massive loss, but to look at what we had for almost 30 years and be thankful that I had Dennis as my best friend. My love to the Scott family. I am sending everyone love and strength.
I worked with Dennis at TSYS for one year, and he was always smiling. There was never anything that could bring him down and I will always remember him and what he meant to me. In between taking calls we would play hangman and talk about the music we both enjoyed. Dennis always reminded me of "the Fonz" from Happy Days. When working with him, he wrote me a card with words of encouragement on it and it is still proudly displayed on my desk at my current job, 2 years later. Dennis touched the lives of everyone he crossed paths with and he truly was a gem.
Dennis sat right behind me here at work, prepared on a daily basis to turn around at any time and throw a wisecrack or an in-joke that would lighten the mood and have us laughing. In the aftermath of his passing and the enormous loss all of us as his work family are coping with, it is that humor that I reflect upon often and what will always and forever represent the best of him for me. We ache for your family, dear friend, and wish them healing and peace.
Miss you, Dennis. Thanks for your friendship. A big hug to you! ????
