Josephine Miranda Gambardella, 84, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Village Green, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Frank L. Gambardella. Josephine was born in New Haven on March 19, 1931; daughter of the late Frank and Rose Angel Miranda and had worked for the Advisor for many years. Mother of Frank S. (Terri) Gambardella, Dominic (Linda) Gambardella, William “Billy” Gambardella, Cara-Lyn Rose Gambardella and Richard Gambardella. Grandmother of Dominic, Michele, Susan, Frankie (Beth), Stephen, Kyle, Kristen, Billy, Andreya and Jack Gambardella, Laura and Brandon Annunziata. Great-Grandmother of Gracie and Giovanni. Predeceased by her sisters Eleanor Forte and Veronica Weightman.
Her funeral procession will leave at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday morning at 8:30. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Therese Church at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 5 to 8 pm.

I was so sad to hear of Jo's passing. We used to work together in the early 90's at the Advisor. I will always remember as a very sweet and fun lady. My condolences to her entire family. May she rest in peace.
