Barbara Ford Suraci, 90, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 65 years of the late Mauro Suraci. Barbara was born in New Haven on May 30, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Robert F., Sr., and Cecelia Glynn Ford. She worked as a Systems Analyst for Aetna, in Hartford until her retirement. Barbara earned a bachelor’s degree from New Haven State Teachers College. Beloved mother of Barbara A. Suraci, Edward M. Suraci (Cynthia), and Brian A. Suraci (Jennifer). Loving grandmother of Ethan P., Conner J., Juliana R., and John M. Suraci. Sister of the late Robert F. Ford, Jr. The visiting hours will be Friday morning, January 19th, in the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, from 9:00 to 11:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave., North Haven at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
