Barbara L. (Ferraro)  Esposito, 84, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3rd 2024. She was the devoted wife of 57 years to Charles Esposito.  Barbara was born in New Haven on October 10, 1939, and was the daughter of the late James and Lucille Cavallero Ferraro.  She devoted her life to her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She truly loved them all unconditionally and being their “Ma” was her greatest joy. Cherished mother of Sharon (Murray) Allderige, Sandra (Alfred) Gonsalves, and Charlene (Bill) Cuff.  Loving grandmother of Alena, Nicholas, Dayton, and Jordyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews with an especially strong bond with Donna and Robin. Predeceased by her brother Gerald Ferraro. Among her many interests she particularly loved watching Hallmark movies, UConn Women’s Basketball, and celebrating all things by her beloved Snoopy. She would suffer through many Yankees games to make her husband happy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Debbie, for being her companion and friend for the last several years.

The visiting hours will be on Thursday morning, January 11th, from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven at 12 noon.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
