Barry J. Zanoni, 72, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Yale New Haven Hospital, with his family by his side. Barry was born in Lewiston, Maine on September 20, 1946, and was the son of the late Joseph P. and Helen Pirainen Zanoni. He served his country peacefully in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Barry had worked in the pest control and home repair industries. He was an avid fan of sports, especially car racing, but his greatest joy in life was his family, whom he loved unconditionally. Beloved husband of 35 years to Patricia A. Malloy Zanoni. Devoted father of Ryan J. (Stacey) Zanoni and Allison E.(Zach) Green. And loving grandfather of Logan and Evan Green. Predeceased by his sister, Connie Wright.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, February 9th from 3 to 5 pm in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, with a sharing of memories to take place at 4:30. I’m so sorry for your loss Patty, and for Allison’s and Ryan’s loss also. My heart aches to think of Logan and Evan missing the chance to really know their grandfather. You are all in my prayers.
