Anne Marie Pilla Shrader, 71, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 20143 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Paul L. Shrader. Anne Marie was born in Bronx, New York on June 13, 1942; a daughter of the late Phillip and Anna Testa Pilla; she had worked for the Orange Board of Education for 26 years retiring as an Administrative Assistant. She loved cooking, shopping, gardening, traveling and was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. Mother of Robert Geissler, Kim (Stephen) Dobie and Darlene (John) Loukides. Grandmother of Nicholas, Julia and Matthew Dobie, John and Victoria Loukides. Predeceased by a sister Carol Dannenhoffer.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday morning, March 12th at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 11th from 5 to 8 pam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
