Colleen Wakley, 78, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born on June 3, 1937 in Ashland, ME to the late Arthur and Alma (Kennedy) Goslin; wife of the late James Zulawski and George Wakley, Sr. Mother of Carol & Ceferino Rodriguez, New Haven, James Zulawski, New Haven, Tina & Frank Selitte, West Haven, Lisa & Anthony Ray, New Haven, Michael Zulawski, North Haven, John & Melissa Zulawski, Northford, Linda & George Marquez, West Haven, George Wakley, Jr., New Haven & the late Deborah Baez; also survived by 44 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven, CT, Friday morning at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian burial and to attend committal services immediately following in the All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Colleen’s name may be made to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven CT 06473.
