Beverly E. Hague Carlson, 81, of North Haven, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 27th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Verner “Vern” Carlson for 65 years. Beverly was born in New Haven on June 20th, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Julia Fiondella Hague. A graduate of Hillhouse High School, Beverly moved to North Haven where she started and raised her family. She worked alongside her husband for more than 60 years with the same loyalty and dedication that she provided to her family. Beverly immensely enjoyed family gatherings and had a love for classic movies. She also enjoyed her weekly trips to the hair salon and any opportunity to get “doll’ed” up for a day out on the town. Beverly will be greatly missed by her four children; Vernon Carlson, Tracy Carlson Ivers, Brett J. Carlson (wife- Kathleen) and TJ Carlson (wife – Chanda Charpentier). She was a loving grandmother to John, Grace and Colin Ivers, Blake and Christina Carlson. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Launder and two nieces, Terri and Wendy and a nephew, Rich Launder.
Visiting hours will be Friday, March 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 8 Trumbull Place, North Haven on Saturday morning, March 4th at 10:00 AM to attend the funeral service with the committal service immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN
