I am so sorry for your loss. Psalms 55:22 tells us: “Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you.” May the God of all comfort give you the strength to endure during this difficult time. Please take comfort in the promise of John 5: 28, which says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” Soon, we can look forward to a time when we will once again be reunited with our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death.
Reilly and family,
You have my sincerest and heartfelt condolences. I am so sorry for your loss, but know that your MIL, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother is in a better place and her suffering, pain, and sorrow has ended forevermore. Matthew 5:4 says “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Remember that even “Jesus wept” over death as is stated in John 11:35. It is the shortest Bible verse but one that provides the best comfort as it demonstrates that sorrowful emotion over loss is acceptable and all do it. The great news is that Jesus has felt that pain and his comfort manifests to provide loving peace to each of you and all generally. Your great loving memories will live on in each of you. Please focus on those quality times of love, laughter, beach combing, sand castle building, ocean splashes, and life shared. Love endures forever per Psalms 136:13.
If I can assist in any way then please just ask. My prayers will continue for each of you during this time of grieving and throughout the next year as you experience each of the first holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and special events without her physical presence and know that she is there through love shared. God will carry you through.
We send special love to the Cargans during this time of loss. Bonnie was a beautiful smiling lady, at all the baseball games, sitting with her family, sweet and smiley. That’s how we know her!!! That’s how we will remember her. Hug each other and talk about the funny things she used to say and do. That’s the best! Love you guys!
~ Love, Cheryl, Kevin, James, Colin and Matthew
