Anthony DePasquale, 101, a 46 year resident of North Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Catherine Porto DePasquale.  Anthony was born in Pontelatone, Province of Caserta, Italy on July 13, 1913; son of the late Giovanni and Mariagiuseppa Rotondo DePasquale.  He came to this country alone on April 15, 1929 at age 15 settling in Hamden, moving to New Haven where he lived for 40 years until moving to North Haven.  Anthony had worked for the former Burndy Corporation, North Haven for many years retiring as a set-up man.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.  Father of Anthony J. DePasquale and his wife Immacolata “Mickey” Palmieri DePasquale.  Grandfather of Rosanne DelVecchio and her husband Andrew, and Donna DePasquale.  Great Grandfather of Christopher and Ariana DelVecchio, and Paola Milbank.  Predeceased by his siblings Archangelo, Giuseppe and Marianina.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Thursday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 am until 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Dr., Branford, CT  06405 or a charity of ones choice.
