John Bimonte, Jr., 73, of North Haven passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Dorothy Minieri Bimonte. John was born in New Haven on January 26, 1942; son of the late John Bimonte, Sr. and Frances Lorusso Bimonte. He was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and had attended the University of New Haven. John was Vice President of Human Resources at Saint Raphael’s Hospital for many years and later was the Director of Human Resources for the CT Hospice, Branford. He was a New York Mets and Jets fan, and enjoyed watching horse racing. Father of Melissa Bimonte –Ferrull (Patrick), John Joseph Bimonte (Fran), Allison Bimonte (Aimee). Grandfather of John Sebastian Bimonte and Victoria Jane Ferrull. Brother of Donna McKean (Robert) and Barry Bimonte.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 PM.
